I recently had the pleasure of chatting to Corey Plante from Inverse about reprising my role as Victoria in the Syfy's popular series THE MAGICIANS. We also discuss what it was like working with Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin, Guest-Star Felicia Day and the always awesome cast on the show. Check it out here!
After keeping it under wraps for some time, I'm very excited to say that Victoria is back on THE MAGICIANS. For those who missed last night's episode entitled 'Poached Eggs' - be sure to catch us up - Victoria made quite the entrance! I'm thrilled to be back working with the cast including Penny (Arjun Gupta) who was responsible for rescuing me from that awful dungeon in Season 1, as well as Quentin (Jason Ralph), and Poppy (played by Guest-Star Felicia Day). Check out my insta and twitter for more behind the scenes goodness. We had a lot of fun on set together! Thanks to series creators Sera Gamble and John McNamara for having me back!
I had the pleasure of discussing all things 'Blood Brothers' related with Decay Magazine founder and Editor Ken Luntz. Turns out Ken is also quite the fan of 'Magicians' and 'Supernatural' , so we had a chat about those as well.
One of the questions people are keen to ask about my role in 'Blood Brothers', is the fact that I actually play two roles in this film. That was definitely a challenge, but also a really exciting one. I play the role of Genevieve, a friendly waitress, and Vanity, a sassy street walker.
In the lead-up to the release of Uncork'd Entertainment's feature 'Blood Brothers', I'm going to be having a chat with Jimmy Star, on the Jimmy Star Show - November 16th. Be sure to tune in and hear our wonderful director Jose Prendes, and excellent Barbara Crampton and I have a chat about all things horror and horror film related.
Very pleased to say that the very bloody Blood Brothers, opens Friday December 9th at Laemmle’s Royal Theatre in Los Angeles. The film is also available to view on VOD and Digital HD as of December 2nd. So you can get your hands on it now!
Written and directed by Jose Prendes, and loosely based on the real-life tale of killers Leopold and Loeb, the film stars Graham Denman and Jon Kondelik as half-brothers who concoct a deadly game and Ken Foree as a detective with a very special gift who is hot on their trail.
Produced by Kondelik and his own sibling James, Blood Brothers costars Hannah Levien, Sean Whalen, and You’re Next actress Barbara Crampton, who previously appeared with Foree in Stuart Gordon’s phantasmagorical HP Lovecraft adaptation, From Beyond.
It was such a pleasure to attend the annual Vancouver International Film Festival last night. They've programmed a great line-up of films, and it's always wonderful to celebrate cinema with the talented bunch of artists who live in this great city.
Louise Uwacu of U&I Talk Show had a chat with me on the red carpet about my work this year... plus how to pronounce my last name (P.S It's less fancy than it looks), Vancouver's skiing, and the essence of good shoes. All the essentials!
Thanks for having me VIFF! See you next year!
Tonight is the night... Season 1 of 'The Magicians' comes to a close. There are so many twists and turns in this ep, along with a list of stellar guest appearances, as the Brakebills students finally set out to destroy The Beast aka Mothra. Hopefully this means good things for Victoria who has been his captive for some time now... you'll have to tune in to find out! Directed by series EP Scott Smith and written by fellow EPs Sera Gamble and John McNamara, this is going to be a rollercoaster of a finale! 9/8c on Syfy!
Tune into 'The Magicians' tonight as everything boils to a head in the episode ominously entitled '39 Graves'... and you also get to find out a bit more about my character Victoria! Next week is the Season 1 Finale so be sure not to miss that one! I had so much fun working on this episode, directed by the very wonderful Guy Norman Bee (what a guy!), and accompanied by the always lovely cast and crew. Check it out :)
I'll be joining the cast of Bates Motel this coming Monday night on A&E 9/8c. 'Goodnight Mother', directed by Producer Tim Southam, is the second episode in the fourth season of this critically acclaimed show, and it's bound to be a good one! I had the pleasure of working with many of the crew on another A&E show, 'The Returned', last year, and it was great to get some time working with them again. Such a hard-working and friendly team. Be sure to tune in!
Check out the preview for 'Goodnight Mother' here.
I'm pleased to say I'll be making an appearance tonight on the great new Syfy series, 'The Magicians', as Victoria- one of the missing third year students from Brakebills College. If you haven't started watching this show, you absolutely should- one of the most fun casts and crews I've worked with, and it definitely translates to the screen. Brought to you by Sera Gamble ('Supernatural') and John McNamara ('Aquarius') and featuring a great cast of characters as portrayed in Lev Grossman's very popular book series of the same name. Catch us on Syfy at 9/8c!
